The Threshold Package

New parents often feel unprepared for all that is asked of them throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum. They often feel unsupported, that they are missing their “village”. They often feel torn between complete exhaustion and the desire to not miss a single moment.

Throughout my daughter’s pregnancy, birth, and first year of life I certainly felt all of these things. I felt alone, scared, full of questions, and completely crippled by the feeling that every fleeting moment of her infancy was slipping away in my exhausted haze of reality. Even as a professional photographer myself I found it so hard to pull out the camera and document all the tiny details and moments I knew I’d want to remember. I was too bogged down in making sure that she and I were simply alive by the end of the day.

For families who want to thrive throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum - who want to feel supported and held as they walk through the threshold of parenting - who want to ensure the story of the child’s life is captured despite their sleep deprivation and overwhelm - I have created the threshold package.

Imagine this - a friend to walk with you throughout pregnancy. to normalize, to educate, to help prepare you for your transition into parenthood. An empathetic doula to support you through birth and postpartum - providing labor support and then holding space for your needs in the postpartum. And a witness - someone to tell your story. An unobtrusive photographer there to capture the subtle and and the extraordinary of your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. When so much about birth and the first year of life is impossible to predict imagine having someone there to walk with you through it all.

What to Expect:

A 21 month journey with me as your doula and photographer.

I support you through the pregnancy & birth both as a doula but also an experienced and unobtrusive photographer who will document the process with my camera.

+ 3 storytelling sessions to be scheduled during pregnancy and/or the first year of your new baby's life.

By the end of your 21 months you will have been fully supported through the pregnancy, birth, and entrance into parenthood and will also have your priceless memories beautifully documented.

Investment:

I know how hard it can be to come up with one large fee right away. Especially during seasons of intense transition. I am honored to be able to offer this as a monthly subscription. You can pay one payment each month for 21 months and I will take the lead in scheduling your sessions and checking in with you as your doula!

There's already so much to keep up with during pregnancy, birth and a babies first year - the last thing I want is for you to miss out on photography & support. I've made this as easy as possible to build into your journey.

The total cost of the threshold package is $5775 and can be divided into monthly payments of $275. I offer discounts for families who allow me to share their photographs. You can also easily add this package to your baby registry here!
